Hafa Adai! I hail from the beautiful village of Santa Rita where I learned to promote that southern hospitality and charm. It is also where I fell in love with being outdoors and soaking up what Mother Nature has to offer. I attended the University of Guam majoring in Business Administration in 2008 to pursue a career in the Financial Industry, however things didn’t plan out accordingly. In 2009, I decided to join the U.S. Air Force where I trained to become an Air Traffic Controller. My first duty station was Hill Air Force Base, Utah. It was there where I fell more in love with being outdoors, from snowboarding on the best powder on earth to hiking great national parks to camping with friends on weekends. It is also where I fell in love with Crossfit, so much so I received my CF-LV1. In 2014, I got transferred to South Korea for a one-year tour. I loved being away in a foreign country and soaked up everything the people and culture had to offer, but I missed that island life. With that in mind, I moved back home in 2015. I have been blessed to become a part of the Lion Pride and the greatest fitness community here on the island. In the end, I hope to make a difference with every person I meet whether it would be through fitness or life in general. Saina Ma’ase!
